Ilagiinut Kativvik (Where Families Gather)

Ontario’s EarlyON program, Ilagiinut Kativvik provides programs and services to children 0-6 years and their families. These programs support the bond between child and parent/caregiver, foster cultural knowledge, pride and identity, enhance child development, promote early literacy skills and support healthy pregnancies.

Sewing and Beading Drop-In, Mondays, 4 to 7 pm (Dinner and bus tickets)
Najjijulirijut Pregnancy Circles, Tuesdays, 12 to 2 pm (Brunch and bus tickets)
Baby ‘n’ Me, Thursdays, 10 to 12 pm (Breakfast and bus tickets)
Breakfast with Children, Fridays 9 to 11 am (Breakfast and bus tickets)
Family Drop-In, Saturdays 1 to 4 pm (Lunch and bus tickets)

 Family Culture Program
 Sewing Program
 Parent
 Field trips/outings
 Elder involvement in programs
 CAS Access visits
 Parent outreach

Pre/Post Natal Program:
 Weekly program for pregnant women and partners
 Baby and Me
 Elder Involvement
 Birthing Support as needed
 Healthy meals and snacks during programs
 Guest speakers
 Individual supports e.g. medical appointments, hospital visits
 Outreach and Referrals
