Ottawa Public Health Dental Clinics

For access to the Children’s Healthy Smiles Ontario program enrolment, call 613-580-6744, x 23510. This program covers regular dental visits and treatment for children under
18 yrs-old.

C.I.N.O.T.–This program fast tracks emergency services and out of hospital anaesthetic coverage for children in need of treatment emergency treatment.

These following clinics are available for low-income families without dental coverage or on Ontario Works. Call the numbers below for free monthly dental screening for all ages. Fluoride varnish applications.

If you have no insurance; but, can pay for dental treatments:
Go to any private clinic, tell the front desk staff.

If you have the Inuit Health Number (N number) or employment insurance benefits, ask the front desk staff if they accept your plan.
There are a few regular private clinics that participate in government sponsored dental programs, see below. Or, call the Ottawa Dental Society at 613-523-3876 between 9 am and 12 pm (Monday to Friday) to find a dental office in your area that participates in government sponsored dental programs.
