Silatuniq Program
Funder : Jordan's Principle – Inuit Child First Initiative

The primary goal of the Silatuniq Program is to engage Inuit youth in education or employment, while also helping them cultivate life skills and leadership qualities crucial for success. The program provides culturally relevant support to Inuit students ( 0-18 ) in the community through personalized educational assistance, mentorship, connections to community and culture, training in life and job skills, case management, and advocacy. Furthermore, it offers referrals to internal agency-wide resources as well as other organizations across the province to ensure that Inuit youth have access to a diverse range of resources and opportunities suited to their specific needs and cultural context.
