At Inuuqatigiit Centre, we acknowledge the gift of being on Anishnabek territory and specifically on Algonquin Territory. We want to recognize the two closest Algonquin First Nation communities: Kitigan Zibi and the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan. We also recognize that today – Ottawa is a gathering place for First Nations, Inuit and Métis from across Canada. This land acknowledgement commits us to the original relationship we are building together – through friendship and peace.
There are so many great resources online that we thought you might find some of the links below useful. If you have a link you think our site could benefit from, contact us and share your link. It may be added to the list. Here is a quick list of resources for you to access should you require any further supports.
