Welcome to the Inuuqatigiit Centre for Inuit Children, Youth and Families.
In partnership with parents and the community, Inuuqatigiit Centre fosters strong and proud Inuit children, youth and families.

Today, we are a multi-service Inuit organization that provides cultural, educational, recreational and social support services to children, youth and families of Ottawa’s growing Inuit community. The centre serves as a major hub of early years and youth services for Inuit families in Ottawa.

COMMUNITY

Provides mental health counselling services to children, youth and adults to facilitate healing and well-being.

EARLY YEARS PROGRAM

​We are committed to supporting young Inuit children’s learning, development, health and well-being in a loving, caring, holistic and cultural context that promotes the preservation of the Inuktitut language.

YOUTH

The Silatuniq Inuit Youth Engagement Program focuses on school re-engagement and school maintenance for Inuit youth 12 to 18 years living in eastern Ontario.

FAMILY

Inuuqatigiit Centre’s Family Well-Being (FWB) program builds on the strengths of the children, youth and their families by providing holistic supports tailored to the unique needs of each family.
